Last year, in 2006, the second VW Festival attracted over 7000 visitors, and cars of all types and standards, from beautifully restored Beetles and Campers to highly modified Golfs. Families - VW Festival is not only aimed at VW enthusiasts who want to show off their cars or look at other people's hard work; it's also for the families, who want to spend a sunny sunday wondering around the grounds of Harewood House, and taking a look at our show at the same time. For the kids there's a purpose built Adventure Playground, a funfair hosted by the VW Festival, and not forgetting the Bird Garden.
